good choice nice place friendly staff
I appreciated the breakfast. There was a great choice on the menu. I especially liked the conservatory at the front. It's a nice place for a coffee. The staff was very friendly and cute. I felt very comfortable.
The communal areas need some improvement. I found the seating less than comfortable.

wow, what a find!

lovely staff clean room comfortable bed great breakfast
the staff greeted us warmly upon arrival. the room was decorated beautifully and felt clean. the bed was so comfy i never wanted to leave it! breakfast had many options and my eggs benedict were superb.
the room got a little too warm at night, even with the window slightly open. it was a very minor issue, though.

i booked a summer break that included a gin and tonic on arrival, but the duty manager refused. he banged the gin tonic on the table. his attitude stunk.

mixed experience , some issues

thin walls terrible experience
the location is good , right in the centre of town.
the walls felt thin , i could hear every word from the next room. i woke up every morning before 7am due to the noise. it, and i'm frustrated by the lack of soundproofing.

delicious lunch friendly staff modern decor soft bed difficult access worst room
i had lunch one day. it was plentiful and delicious. the staff are very friendly and helpful (which is always a plus). the decor was modern and the entrance had lovely christmas trees.
the bed in room 23 was too soft. it. i was given what must be one the worst rooms available. it was a very difficult to access standard room.
